Each year, the Diversity Leadership Institute (DLI), chooses a theme to help guide the educational opportunities and sessions at the program. This year the DLI theme is Crossroads: Opportunities for a Stronger Community. As campus leaders and Razorbacks, our lives consist of multiple intersections where our stories, identities, and experiences intertwine internally and amongst others. As we come together as a community, we must use these crossing paths as an opportunity for dialogue and intentional discussion. This theme also ties in well with our keynote speaker, Dr. Ty Douglas. Dr. Douglas describes himself as a Border Crossing Brother and speaks to how we can together authentically and create a community that values inclusion. The 2019 DLI sessions will discuss how our stories are each unique and how they shape us as leaders and as a campus.
