DLI Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be involved in specific student organizations to attend DLI?
Any U of A student is allowed to register and attend DLI. Its goal is to educate any student on campus who desires to integrate inclusion and embrace diversity within their student lives at the U of A.

Does attendance at DLI cost anything?
It does not. DLI is free of charge. Not only do you get a great learning opportunity, but also a free lunch, free t-shirt, and a unique opportunity to meet other students on campus. 

How long does DLI last?
DLI begins at 8:30 am on April 6th with check-in. The day lasts until around 3:00 pm. We ask that all attendees stay for the whole day to gain the most from DLI.

Is there a limit to the number of attendees?
Due to our budget, we are only able to allow a certain number of students into DLI. As we near that number we will make sure to update the information on our site.
