Are you a first-year student looking for ways to improve your leadership skills or get involved on campus? If so, the First Year Leadership Summit is just for you! The Summit aims to introduce those students, who are very adamant in making an impact as student leaders on campus, to the foundation of what it means to be a leader at the U of A. The Summit will also introduce these students to various campus organizations that empower first-year students to leave their mark by allowing them to purposely lead in their first year.

Students will have the opportunity to practice their networking skills with other first-year students committed to leaders and to upperclassmen student leaders that serve as mentors. Through planned sessions, first-year students will become acclimated with campus as well as ways to become involved with various leadership opportunities.
